Singer, Chae Yeon will be Korea's representative for the 2009 East Asian Games. Chae Yeon had finished recording the themesong in 2008. On the 28th of August, at the grand opening in Hong Kong there will be singers from various countries coming together to perform the themesong.
"We hope that Chae Yeon will be able to perform the song in mandarin, to give more encouragement to Korean athletes."
